IG-541 (Inergen)
Product
IG-541 (Inergen) is an inert gas comprising of 50% Nitrogen, 42% Argon & 8% Co², it is naturally present in the atmosphere, therefore its green-house effect is nil and its ozone layer depletion potential is zero. It is chemically inert, non-conductive, colourless, odourless and flavourless. IG-541 (Inergen) is non-corrosive and may be used at normal temperatures with such materials as nickel, steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, bronze and plastics.
IG-541 (Inergen) suppression systems are based in the principle of reducing the oxygen concentration inside the protected hazard. The oxygen concentration is minimized by the application of IG-541 (Inergen) until it reaches a level where combustion is no longer supported. Each system is designed so as to decrease oxygen to a specific level. When discharged, IG-541 (Inergen) is quickly and uniformly distributed within the enclosure, achieving design concentration in 60 seconds.
R125 (Pentafluoroethane)
Product
R125 is a colorless gas under ordinary temperature and a colorless & transparent liquid under the pressure of itself, used as refrigerants, the vital part of mixed working substances to substitute CFC-502 & HCFC-22, and as flame-retardants to substitute Halon-1211 & Halon-1301.
R134A (Tetrafluoroethane)
Product
R134a is one of the most common refrigerants used in a wide range of refrigeration and air conditioning applications, including medium and high temperature refrigeration (both domestic and commercial), residential & light air conditioning, automotive air conditioning and industrial applications such as centrifugal chillers. It is also a common component in many HFC refrigerant blends and is used in some propellant applications.
Can be used as a retrofit in some R12 and R22 applications with an oil change. Low-GWP replacements include R1234yf, R1233zd, R1234ze.
R22 (Chlorodifluoromethane)
Product
R-22 (Freon 22, R22) is a colorless gas with weak specific odor. It is used for obtaining temperature up to minus 40°С at first stage and temperature up to minus 60°С at second stage in refrigerating units and in household and industrial air-conditioners. It is also used as a mixture component, a pore-forming agent for producing plastic foam and for obtaining fluoro-monomers and other fluoro-organic substances.
R-22 (Freon 22, R22) is a non-combustible and non-explosive gas. Self-ignition temperature is above 700°C. In case of contact with flame or hot surfaces, it decomposes producing highly toxic products. It reacts with chlorine and bromine at temperature of 400-600°C in the gas phase or at catalyst. It is allow for production and usage until 2030.
R-22 has been the dominant refrigerant in residential and commercial air conditioning and large chillers for air conditioning and industrial process cooling and for medium and low-temperature commercial refrigeration applications. It can also be used as an aerosol propellant for pesticide and paint, or as a fire extinguishing agent. It is a primary feedstock for fluoropolymers.
R-22 has been subject to reduced production and restriction in new equipment since 2010, and production of the refrigerant is to end in 2020. The use of R-22 is allowed until the supply has been depleted. R-22 is non toxic and non flammable meeting the highest A1 Classification.
